Where to begin...well I have been putting up a static display since 1997. While my display has been nothing to write home about (laugh), I always put up lights for Christmas because I love to do it. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I love to see houses all decorated, mine included, for the season. And I have to tell you, there are some beautiful displays out there!

Around March of 2006, I got a call from a good friend of mine - Nancy, and we talked for quite some time. Somehow we got on the subject of Christmas & Christmas lights, and she sent me a link to this website that hosted this video of a house with animated lights, synchronized to music. It was the home of Carson Williams in Mason, OH. For those of you that have seen the video, you know what I am talking about, if you haven't seen it, you can google it as it's all over the net. Anyway, I read the article about the display, and thought it was something really nice and way out of my league. So I pretty much just put it out of my mind, as it was out of my reach...or so I thought.
About a week before Christmas of 06, I was surfing the net for Christmas lights timed to music (that Carson Williams video was on my mind), and I don't remember what site I was at, but I saw this link to a place called PlanetChristmas and thought I would check it out. Five days later (12-20-06 to be exact) I signed up at the site. I was so excited that I was reading everything I could, and came to the realization, that I could have an animated light show, that it was in my grasp.
Since that time, I have been researching, designing, planning and getting the necessary equipment & supplies, for my first animated light show (07) sync'd to music!
I am a huge fan of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and their concerts are AWESOME! If you have the opportunity to see them in concert, I strongly recommend you go, you will not be disappointed! I mention that because... it's "Wizards In Winter" (that Carson used in his famous video - which was also featured in a Budweiser commercial), that inspired me to go the route of animation, that and all of the wonderful people at
PlanetChristmas & ConstantlyChristmas!
Without their knowledge and help, I wouldn't be where I'm at today!!!
So, that is a little history of how I got started in this great hobby. It is my hope that you enjoy the show!
